Market Leader English Levels Description
Beginner
Focus on practicing pronunciation and grammar to provide a better understanding of the structure of general English. Introduce yourselves and family members, simple greetings, personal interests and hobbies, ask locations or directions, how to make a purchase and etc. To be able to command a vocabulary of 1000 to introduce yourselves and have basic conversations.
Elementary
Focus on further practice of grammatical structures, vocabulary and language functions to achieve intermediate level. Enquire responsibilities in one's career, daily schedule, banks and post offices, give personal information, express feelings, ask for a date, make an agreement or disagreement, talk about weather, invite guests and etc. To be able to command a vocabulary of 2200 to express your feelings and needs correctly and to cope with overall meaning in most situations. Lower-Intermediate
Focus on further practice of grammatical structures, vocabulary and language functions to achieve upper-intermediate level. Intermediate
